I live in the small green state of Vermont

We are known for a lot of things in Vermont but fashion sense is not one of them. I live in the third largest city in Vermont, called Rutland, and it is sort of the ugly step-sister of more well known cities such as Montpelier, and Burlington. I'd like to change both those truths. I have been sewing since elementary school but recently I have started drafting and designing my own patterns. I love doing it and I would like to turn others on the the creativity and liberation of giving up ready to wear and creating your own styles. Long range, I would like to start a Vermont fashion week in dear old Rutland . Wouldn't that be wonderful? Let's give it a whirt.
